Makes 2 Dozen Bars
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 3 eggs, divided
- 1 (8-oz.) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (1-lb.) box powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Combine butter, cake mix, and 1 egg in medium bowl, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened.
- Pat mixture into the bottom of well-buttered 15x10-inch jelly roll pan.
- In separate bowl, beat remaining eggs lightly, then beat in cream cheese and powdered sugar.
- Stir in coconut and walnuts.
- Pour over the crust in pan, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool completely before cutting.
