Treehouse Cookies

Makes About 5 Dozen Cookies

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package (16 ounces) Trader Joe's® Cranberry Trail Mix
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  1. Heat oven to 375°F. In large mixer bowl, beat butter and sugars until fluffy.
  2. Beat in eggs and vanilla. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt; mix into butter mixture to blend thoroughly.
  3. Mix in trail mix and walnuts to distribute evenly.
  4. Drop generous tablespoons of dough, spaced 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.
  5. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until lightly browned.
  6. Cool on pans 10 minutes, then remove to racks to cool completely.
