Chorizo Gravy

Chorizo Gravy1 tablespoon Real California butter

1/2 pound Mexican chorizo, removed from casing

1/4 cup flour

2 cups Real California milk, warmed

Salt and black pepper

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium high heat. Add chorizo; cook 6-8 minutes or until well-browned, breaking up chorizo with a wooden spoon. Sprinkle flour over chorizo; cook, stirring, 1-2 minutes. Stir in milk and cook until thickened. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with warm buttermilk biscuits.
