
BAKERSFILED, Calif. – May 19, 2025 – Rachel Ramey of Bakersfield was selected as the 2025 Dairy Princess. The coronation was held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in Bakersfield.
Rachel will represent District 6, which includes Kern, San Luis Obispo, and Santa Barbara counties. As Dairy Princess, she will play a key role on the CMAB’s Communication Services team in meeting community relations objectives.
Rachel, daughter of Charlotte and Robert Ramey, is pursuing a degree in Agriculture Business at Bakersfield College, where she also serves as the President of the Bakersfield College Rodeo Club. Rachel’s dedication to agriculture began in high school, where she was an active member of the Frontier Future Farmers of America Chapter. During her time there, she exhibited dairy replacement heifers, judged dairy cattle, and held the role of Chapter Sentinel and committee chair. She is now working towards her Future Farmers of America American Degree.
Rachel’s duties as District 6 Dairy Princess include speaking on behalf of the California dairy industry to various audiences throughout the year. As Dairy Princess, Rachel will attend professional development training focused on presentation skills, advocating for the California dairy industry, leadership, and business etiquette.
